Matthew M. Fischer

Matthew brings more than 19 years of legal experience representing businesses, individuals, and government entities in complex matters at both the state and federal levels. He currently focuses his practice on all aspects of civil trial litigation and appeals, including contract disputes, collections, professional licensing defense, and a range of issues involving health care and consumer fraud.

Big Results, Small Ego

Before founding his current firm, Matthew served in various legal roles within the U.S. Government, gaining extensive experience across both civil and criminal practice areas. He was a Senior Attorney Advisor with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, where he advised administrative law judges and agency personnel on a broad spectrum of legal issues. Prior to that, he served as an Assistant General Counsel with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney with the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, handling matters ranging from counterterrorism investigations to defending the FBI in civil litigation and prosecuting narcotics, weapons, and theft cases.

Matthew is admitted to practice in Florida, Texas, and before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
